Phase Connect is the indie-flavored agency out of Vancouver, Canada that gave us Pippa, Lumi, and a whole family of chaotic gremlins who say exactly what they think on stream. Kevin Li, better known online as H2oSakana, cooked up the company in 2021 while the pandemic pushed everything online, and it grew from a scrappy startup into one of the loudest names in Western VTubing. In this guide we will walk you through the full roster, every single wave, and the juicy face reveal and past life gossip fans keep chasing. Let’s meet the whole family!

What Makes Phase Connect Different From the Big Agencies

Phase Connect built its whole brand on freedom. While the giant agencies keep their talents on a short leash and a strict script, this crew is famous for saying the quiet part out loud. The girls swear, they go on unhinged rants, they drag each other during collabs, and management mostly just lets them cook. That is exactly why the fanbase is so rabidly loyal. You are not watching a polished corporate idol show. You are hanging out with a group of goblins who happen to have gorgeous anime avatars.

People love to describe the agency as the middle ground between a giant like Hololive and the total wild west of solo creators. You still get real production support here, custom Live2D models, merch drops, original music, and 3D showcases, but the vibe stays loose and personal. If you are brand new to all this and still figuring out what a VTuber even is, honestly Phase Connect is one of the best entry points in the whole scene, because the personalities do all the heavy lifting. You do not need to know the lore to fall in love with these streams. You just need to press play and watch the chaos unfold.

Phase OriginS: The Founding Phase Connect Members

The story starts with Phase OriginS, the first generation that debuted across June 19 and 20, 2021. These are the original Phase Connect members who built the entire agency from nothing, and most of them are still the biggest draws on the roster today.

The founding lineup includes:

  • Pipkin Pippa, the chaotic bunny who became the face of the whole company
  • Tenma Maemi, a high-energy streamer obsessed with roguelikes, horror games, and a good drink
  • Fujikura Uruka, the shark girl and resident tryhard gamer
  • Hakushika Iori, the elegant deer with a warm, motherly stream vibe
  • Rinkou Ashelia, the dependable big-sister type who keeps the group grounded
  • Shisui Michiru, the cheerful cat known for her singing
  • Utatane Nasa, the sleepy, chill member fans adore for cozy late-night streams

This first wave set the entire tone. They collab constantly, they have deep running lore where certain members are literally written as each other’s family, and that group chemistry is the reason so many fans stuck around for years. Tenma especially blew up as a fan favorite thanks to her loud, zero-filter energy and her love of booze and scary games. Uruka pulls in the hardcore gamers, Iori and Ashelia anchor the softer side of the roster, and Nasa is the comfort pick when you just want to vibe. Seven talents, seven completely different flavors, one absolute mess of a group chat.

Pippa VTuber: The Chaotic Queen of Phase Connect

You cannot talk about this agency without talking about the Pippa VTuber phenomenon. Pipkin Pippa is an American talent from that founding OriginS wave, and she is easily the most famous name the company has ever produced. Her streams are fast, funny, and genuinely a little feral, and her community treats her like the ringleader of the entire Phase Connect universe.

Pippa also sits dead center of one of the agency’s biggest gossip moments. Back in May 2022 she got caught up in a doxxing situation when an anon claimed to have leaked her real identity, and the internet detectives went into full overdrive analyzing every glimpse of her hands, her setup, and her pet bird. Pippa being Pippa, she clapped back with pure comedy, joking that someone had doxxed her and her bird like this. Fans still trade stories about her older independent streaming days that occasionally resurface as part of her pre-VTuber history. We break down the entire saga in our full Pippa face reveal and doxxing story if you want every detail.

What makes Pippa special is that she never once plays it safe. She built a massive audience by being genuinely unpredictable, and she basically dragged the whole agency into the spotlight behind her. When a casual viewer pictures a Phase Connect VTuber, nine times out of ten they picture Pippa first. She is the gateway drug, and the rest of the roster is what keeps you hooked.

Phase Invaders and the Lumi VTuber Story

Not everyone on the roster came through a numbered generation. Phase Connect also runs a division called Phase Invaders, which scoops up talents who already had a following before joining. This is where the Lumi VTuber story comes in, and it is one of our absolute favorites.

Kaneko Lumi is an American talent who sings, plays games, and runs some of the funniest money-obsessed bits on the entire roster. She also has one of the more well-documented backstories in the group. Before Phase Connect, Lumi was part of a different agency called CyberLive, where she debuted in the very first generation alongside Amaris Yuri. CyberLive announced the closure of that first gen in March 2022, and Lumi graduated on March 31, 2022, briefly going independent. Phase Connect wasted no time. The agency announced her as a new Invader on April 13, and Lumi confirmed the jump and redebuted under the Phase banner on April 15, 2022, right beside Amaris Yuri.

Fans love Lumi for her gremlin humor and her chaotic gold-digger persona, and she slotted into the Phase Connect madness like she had always been there. Her leap from CyberLive is exactly the kind of past-agency arc the community devours, and it is one of the cleanest “past life” stories on the roster since the whole thing played out in public.

The Invaders division kept snowballing too. In May 2025 the agency added a fresh batch under the Phase Invaders Quest label, bringing in Clio Aite, Mari Mari, and Eepy Sleepy and giving the sub-brand a real second life.

Phase ALiAS: The Second Wave of Phase Connect Members

Once OriginS proved the concept could work, the agency doubled down with Phase ALiAS, the second generation that debuted across July 9 and 10, 2022. This wave added a ton of range to the lineup and handed fans a whole new batch of personalities to obsess over.

The ALiAS members are:

  • Remilia Nephys, who is hilariously written as Tenma Maemi’s “dad” in the group lore
  • Chisaka Airi, the teasing troublemaker who lives to wind up the other girls
  • Amanogawa Shiina, a sweet and artistic member with a softer stream vibe
  • Himemiya Rie, the ojou-sama princess character with big dramatic energy
  • Makina Erina, the competitive gamer of the wave
  • Komachi Panko, the tiny goblin packing absolutely massive chaotic energy

ALiAS is where the family-tree lore truly exploded. The running joke that Remilia is Tenma’s dad is peak Phase Connect nonsense, because the whole roster leans hard into these absurd fake relationship dynamics that make the collabs ten times funnier. This wave proved the agency had genuine depth on the bench instead of just one or two breakout stars carrying everything. If OriginS lit the fire, ALiAS is what turned it into a bonfire.

Phase Euphoria and the KALEiDO Japanese Branch

The agency kept swinging for the fences through 2023 and 2024 with two big moves. First came Phase Euphoria, the third English generation that debuted on December 17, 2023. This wave is themed like a party of adventurers exploring a fantasy world, and it brought in:

  • Eimii Sami
  • Hikanari Hina
  • Muu Muyu
  • Runie Ruse
  • Saya Sairroxs

Euphoria also delivered one of the more emotional roster changes, since Saya Sairroxs graduated on February 11, 2025. Graduations always hit hard in this scene, and Saya’s goodbye was a genuine gut-punch for the Euphoria fandom. It was a reminder that these are careers and real lives, not just avatars.

Then the agency went fully international. In January 2024, Phase Connect launched its all-Japanese branch called Phase KALEiDO, with five members debuting on January 27, 2024. The KALEiDO lineup is:

  • Kannagi Loki
  • Kokoromo Memory
  • Gram Pico
  • Ayase Yuu
  • Kaminari Clara

KALEiDO was a massive signal that Phase Connect wanted to compete on the same field as the Japanese giants, and it cracked the roster open to a completely new audience. It also fits the agency identity perfectly, since Phase Connect has always blended English and Japanese talent culture into one big weird happy family.

Phase Saga: The Newest Phase Connect Members

The roster is still growing at a wild pace. In October 2025 the agency announced Phase Saga, its fourth English generation, themed around stories pulled from a hidden library deep inside Phase HQ. Most of them debuted on October 25, 2025. The Saga wave brought in:

  • Malice Evermore
  • Nitya Nil
  • Wilhelmina Frost
  • Bibi Biscuit
  • Sinon Sinfonia
  • Anya Nyabyss, whose debut got pushed to January 17, 2026

Here is the official Phase Connect announcement revealing the Saga generation.

Saga is the freshest blood on the roster, and these newer members are already carving out their own little pockets of the fandom. If you want to get in early on a talent before they blow up, this is the wave to watch like a hawk. Half the fun of following an agency like this is catching a rising star before everyone else does, and Saga is absolutely loaded with potential. Six new personalities, six clean slates, and a fanbase that is always hungry for the next breakout.

The Face Reveal and Past Life Gossip Fans Chase

Now for the part everyone secretly scrolls down to find. This crew keeps their real identities locked down tight, which only makes the fandom dig harder. The most famous case is still Pippa, thanks to that 2022 doxxing mess and the endless chatter about her old streaming days. Fans treat every hand cam and every keyboard shot like a full-blown crime scene.

Lumi is the cleanest “past life” example on the roster, since her CyberLive history is public record and she talks about it openly. Fans point straight to her whenever the past-life conversation kicks off. Beyond those two, the community loves theorizing about which established indie or ex-agency talent might be hiding behind the newer Saga and Invaders avatars. Piecing together voices, art styles, and old social accounts is basically a competitive fan sport at this point, and the Phase crowd is elite at it.

Just keep in mind that these are real people who chose to stay anonymous, so most of the reveal talk lives in fan spaces rather than official announcements. If you love this kind of detective work, our VTuber face reveal hub is absolutely stuffed with cases across the entire scene. The Phase Connect crowd fits right in with that energy, because these fans genuinely never stop digging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the most popular Phase Connect VTuber?

Pipkin Pippa is the clear standout. She debuted in the first OriginS wave back in 2021 and became the face of the agency thanks to her chaotic streams and her enormous, ride-or-die community. When most people picture a Phase Connect VTuber, Pippa is the very first name that pops up.

How many generations does Phase Connect have?

Quite a few now! The English side has OriginS, ALiAS, Euphoria, and Saga, plus the Phase Invaders and Invaders Quest divisions for talents who join with an existing following. On top of that, the Japanese branch Phase KALEiDO debuted in January 2024. That gives fans a genuinely deep roster across both languages.
